Agreed.....gotta sign Nylander…..do a trade something like Kadri and Gardiner or some kind of trade for a D-man......assure Nylander he will be playing center and not be traded and he will sign at a discount.....trading just Nylander for a D-man should not be an option even though I previously thought it would be......just my thoughts for fun |

That's not Chia enough. There has to be some underachieving dead weight contract going back. This is the guy that traded Eberle for Strome after all. |

This is a really easy trade for Toronto and Edmonton.
Nylander+Gardiner for Nurse+Puljujarvi+ Bear
Edmonton gets winger for McJesus, and a puck moving defenseman.
Toronto gets a defenseman to replace Gardiner, and two promising prospects on cheap deals
You know what, I am giving ChiaPet way too nuch credit. It will probably be Bouchard not Bear |

Yeah not sure I see a fit with the Wings.
I do see potential with Edmonton, but I suspect it would not be 1-up Nylander-Nurse.

I’d take Nurse back solely because the Leafs are completely devoid of toughness. Maybe something like Nylander for Nurse + 1st + mid-level prospect?
